What a truly beautifully unique work of art 🎨 I admire the artisan that's able to make such a remarkable piece. I carry this purse with pride and it makes me feel unique. I have gotten so many compliments at the events I carry it to. They want to hear the story of how I acquired something so awesome 💜
The bag is beautiful and the colors are vibrant, inside and out. I have only been using it a couple of months and the stitching under the flap is starting to fray, so I plan to run some clear glue along the inside of the flap and that should solve that. The strap has a few minor places where it is fraying. IDK if it requires any attention but I think if the strap were wider, it wouldn’t be having as much strain on it, if that makes sense. But overall, it’s a beautiful bag. The barrels don’t hold a lot of items, or open really wide, so if you are a minimalist items-in-your purse person, it’s the bag for you! ❤️

Thought the bad colors would be more vibrant based on the live videos and pictures on Social Media. The bag is extremely light weight, which screams cheap to me, but the bag appears to be stitched well. I haven't used yet, so we'll see what exactly I can fit in it and where I go with it. Interested to see if I'll get any compliments or comments. Not sure it's worth the money spent, but time will tell.
Zipper was not attached well on side fraying away from purse - I love the color and details but that’s a big thing when the zipper is messed up-

Banda Barrel Bag from Maryland USA to vaca in St Thomas!!! This bag held up with me traveling, fits well over my suitcase handles, I have my phone, make up, knitting, wallet, handheld fan, battery, medicine, perfume etc etc what DOESNT this bag hold? Sturdy, eye catching and will travel very well. Beauty at it finest.
The scarf is a lovely green and cream color. It’s definitely silk and feels great. It’s long enough that some body types could even wear it as a shirt sarong. Also if one had the opportunity to ride in a convertible, you could wrap it around head then down around the neck, and don some cool sunglasses for an old-school Hollywood look! I attached some photos. I apologize for the clarity of the photo showing how long it is. I am just under 5’4”.

LOVE this bag. It's a love. Love! The colors are bright and the patterns very crisp. Sometimes the patterns can have a bit of fuzz or fraying from the artisan handling the material as they sew. Not this bag. This bag is very tight and the cream fabric was pristine. I want to tell the story if what happened to my Kayu flap bag on the day I got the Kayu mini weekender. I went to a drive through and got some ketchup with some fries. I was wrestling with this new fangled ketchup packet when it squirted put of the other end, arced amd landed all over my flap bag. YIKES I could have..( did I??) SCREAMED. Until then, I had been extra careful with both my bag and my new car (it has brown leather seats.) Yes, the seats got splattered too and did not fare as well. I had to drive over 45 minutes and I kept looking over at my bag..feeling sad and a bit desperate. I tried to put it out of my mind as it is quite dangerous to drive where I live and not pay attention. I live in the mountains. Long story short, I brought the groceries in, that evil bag of uneaten fries..(how could I after my purse accident?) And took my poor now red and orange Kayu into the bathroom . I grabbed a generic bottle of soap dumped some in my hand then on the bag then dabbed at the spots. The damage was about as large as a plum. Perfectly ruined. Could I find another Kayu flap bag? I had to switch to a full on scrubbing with more soap and water and a wash cloth. All that ketchup came RIGHT OUT. What's more, after a thorough frantic scrubbing the bag looked good as new. I decided to wipe a few more areas then rinsed. So I don't recall reading that the bags were scothguarded or could be scrubbed? I'm just grateful it all came out and my fabric did not fray. Wonderful!
I love this bag I use it as a purse it holds my great grandson bottles and pampers and wipes and an extra change of clothes. I get a lot of compliments on my bag.
